IT Technician

Morpeth School is an outstanding state of the art school, located in the diverse borough of Tower Hamlets. The central IT team comprises of a dedicated, driven group of technicians working collectively to provide first-class technical support within the IT Services Department of this large 11–19 secondary school. Duties will revolve around the day-to-day running and maintenance of a large (700+) PC and Mac network.

Applicants must have excellent PC hardware and software experience, with knowledge of Macs an advantage and the ability to build working relationships with staff. You will ensure the smooth running of ICT systems to facilitate Teaching, Learning, Administration and Leadership through effective network configuration and maintenance. This is a genuine opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of the latest technologies and become an integral part of the schools continuing success.

Successful candidates will be required to abide by the school’s safeguarding children policies and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
