BBC News School Report

BBC News School Report gives 11-16 year-old students in the UK the chance to make their own news reports for a real audience. With support from BBC staff and partners, Morpeth teachers help students develop their journalistic skills to become School Reporters.

In March, our students will take part in an annual News Day, creating video, audio and text-based news reports, and publishing them on this website, to which the BBC aims to link.

Students from this school will be making the news for real on 24 March 2014 as they take part in BBC News School Report. We aim to publish the news by 1600 GMT on the News Day, so please save this page as a favourite and return to it later.  In the meantime, take a look at what our students produced last year

Update: 17th April 2013

Last year, Morpeth students took part in an annual News Day. In addition to presenting the news, our students also have conducted a exclusive interview with world renowned director Danny Boyle!
