Sixth Form Academic Mentor - Maths
SIXTH FORM ACADEMIC MENTOR (Maths) required from January 2019
Post is full time (35 hours per week), term time only plus three weeks till Aug 2019
NJC Scale 4 £22,377 pro rata (actual monthly salary £1,719)
We are looking for a highly qualified honours graduate to become a Maths Academic Mentor at this popular, fully inclusive 11-19 comprehensive school in Bethnal Green. You will support and challenge our sixth form students, helping them to become excellent independent learners.
You will need a high level of academic literacy. You will be expected to help to supervise our study areas, ensuring that students are using their Supervised Study periods effectively, and to contribute to our sixth form enrichment programme. Applicants will have experience of working with young people and a belief in their ability to succeed.
Closing date: 12 noon on Monday 3rd December, with interviews on Friday 7th December.
Successful candidates must abide by our Safeguarding Children policy and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
