The Mathematics department has a committed, conscientious and hardworking team of teachers and teaching assistants. Both staff and pupils enjoy the creative dynamic environment of the department.
The department is housed in the east wing and boasts bright spacious classrooms with interactive whiteboards with a dedicated network of computers.

Exam Results
The exam results at both Key Stage 3 and GCSE are improving each year. In 2006:
- 72% of pupils obtained level 5 and above in KS3
- 56% gained A* - C in GCSE Mathematics
