A Design & Technology lesson
Courses
In Morpeth all Key Stage 3 pupils study Design and Technology following a carousel programme of Food, Textiles, Graphics and Resistant Materials. All focus areas are taught through projects relevant to the pupils’ experience.
At Key Stage 4 pupils will have the choice of GCSE full course Food, Textiles, Graphics and Resistant Materials offered as options.

The Department is housed in a purpose built block. It comprises two food rooms, one textiles room, one computer network room, three multi-purpose workshops, a cutting room and a staff room/office for working, meeting and socialising.
There are one part time and five full time members of the department who work collaboratively on schemes of work and project ideas.
